Hey there, thirsty Penangites! 👋 Welcome to Penang Water Monitor, your friendly neighborhood map that lets real people (that’s you!) tell the world when their taps are running dry, trickling, or pouring with life-giving H₂O. We believe in the power of community, one droplet at a time.
Because water is life, and nobody likes dry taps! We got tired of hearing “But I thought it was just me…” so we decided to crowd-source the truth. Whether you’re in Butterworth or Batu Ferringhi, your report helps your fellow islanders plan their showers, laundry days, and nasi kandar runs.
Right now this is a closed beta—that means not everyone can sign up just yet. We’re inviting a select group of water-watchers to help us squash bugs and fine-tune the experience. If you’re keen to contribute (and get early bragging rights), drop us an email at [email protected] or WhatsApp us at 014-3498982. We’ll send you an invite faster than you can say “hydrated!”
This tool is built by ordinary humans (sometimes with ordinary mistakes). While we strive for accuracy, we can’t guarantee that every pin is 100% correct, up-to-the-minute, or approved by any government agency. Use this map as a friendly guide—never as your sole source for critical plumbing decisions. If your tap turns into a water park or a desert, please verify with your local water authority before you do anything drastic (like digging a well in your living room).
Made with 💧 & ❤️ by your neighbors. Happy hydrating!
